In a blitz build spanning 16 days, the Tulsa and Joplin Area Habitat for Humanity teams have joined forces with the City of Joplin to construct 10 homes for low-income families impacted by the devastating May 22 tornado. The Ten for Joplin project provides an opportunity for Tulsans and others in surrounding communities to contribute their time and money to help their neighbors in need.
Join us for this life-changing experience by helping our neighbors rebuild their homes and lives. You can become part of this special event in three ways.
Donate money. Help us reach our goal of raising $800,000 in cash and in-kind gifts to build 10 homes for low-income families in Joplin.
Give your time. All skill levels are needed for the build between Oct. 29 and Nov. 13.
Donate construction materials. Bathtubs, sinks and electrical wire are just a few of the items on our wish list.
